Oh Risk
So, tonight was awesome, but I’m going to recap Sunday (I get the feeling I should recap Saturday but I can’t remember what I did on Saturday other than work).
Sunday I drove Tams to her riding lesson, found out Angela (the teacher) ’s son is Hans, whom I’ve met on a previous occasion, and then we hung out; which was mostly talking and mostly at my place and Godzilla: Final Battle (or Mission…?) in the background. Oh, and then grabbed Ren after driving Tams to the skytrain, so we watched Supernatural until four in the morning. Next day, fish and chips for breakfast and then some tennis (after watching Kim Possible a bunch and there was an episode of Doctor Who in there somewhere). Remind me to get the grip redone on my twenty dollar racket.
Today was awesome. I did a hundred jumping jacks after morning exercises. I skateboarded to and from work. I found out I’m getting a pay raise soon. And then Josh texted me about playing Risk tonight.
Which I did, of course.
Got strategically displaced on the way there, but not badly (turned left rather than right but didn’t know which way I was turning) HOWEVER. JOSSSH. DOESN’T KNOW WHERE HIS FRIENDS LIVE. Honestly, directions people. Picked up a dude, went to Pumpkin Head’s, started the game (I was yellow). Highlights were all the jokes, the banana thing, the avoiding the jar thing. Then there was the dice and rock paper scissors showdown (after everyone else had gone home or on a roadtrip to California) whereas Josh won but I had more pieces on the board. And then driving backwards through the drive thru of Timmy’s. Something else? Might be missing something…
Drove Josh home, drove home, through some mist. Awesome night. Got home around two thirty or something.
Risk start time: roughly ten.
Risk end time: two.

Car not stolen. Yay.
Watched GI Joe the other night and then passed out during Supernatural because I’ve been up until four in the morning the last while studying for my music history exam. Yeaaaah. Good stuff.
And I just came back from laser tag, watched some Chronicles of Riddick. Good stuff. Very awesome. Much love. Can’t be much more descriptive.

Update time. Shiny.
So, Pride Parade was BRILLIANT. My photos are all here. I also did security and wristbands for the Bute entrance of the street party on the Friday night. Good stuff. Four hours of wristbands. Tiring. My car was stolen.
SO I stayed over at Ray the Board Member’s place, whose partner had three friends staying over. Friday night, no car, in an apartment by Commercial Drive, sleeping on a mattress on the floor with three other gay guys and two in the other room. I… It’s just fun to throw out there, situation wise.
Hung around the Terry Wallace Remembrance Breakfast the next day, eventually got to make a proper police report and then took public transit home. Aaaaaaah. Home. Shower, good stuff.
During the parade, I got to carry one of the flags behind the Moment of Silence peeps as part of the reflection ‘float’ (there was no float, we had to walk the three k, really slowly), with about fifteen other people. I mentioned wearing my awesome boxers thus it was eventually suggested that I drop trou. People of Vancouver! Yes! I was the guy in boxers that say ‘Even when I’m on top I’m on the bottom’. I RAWKED THAT. And got a wee bit sunburnt.
Good stuff.
History exam on Friday, have to cram like a whore. Laters
